This case uses hybrid aligner mechanics with the iMolar distalization system for Class II cor- rection.
The iMolar has two different components: the base is anchored by two 2mm × 9mm miniscrews in the palate; the wires are .022" × .025" nickel titanium with crimpable stops.
This appliance can be modified and activated underneath the clear aligners.
