Abstract
The paper consists of four parts. Firstly, the author deals with important categories like “entire” and “intentionality”, from both a theoretical and practical point of view. Then he makes a comparison with the main issues referring to the philosophical thought of Carmelo Vigna, especially regarding the ethics of reciprocal acknowledgement within the field of human desires. Thirdly, the author considers the issue of desire in some works of Friedrich Nietzsche and expresses his own opinion about the features of the desire in the contemporary set of mind. In the end, there is a short meditation on the so called Adam’s disobedience to God, to explore the problematic relationship between human finiteness and infinite God’s love, that is at the root of a possible solution of any contrast servant-master.
