Some of the scholars who contributed papers to the Symposium scrutinized the relationship between “general” vulnerability and “situated” vulnerability; some others seem to validate the notion of situa-ted vulnerability itself, by directly offering an empathic comment to some sections of Philosophy of Vulnerability. While the status of the notion of vulnerability remains an open (and fascinating) que-stion, the challenge of situated vulnerabilities does shed light on interesting aspects of the problem.
