Environmental sustainability has gained momentum in business world and academia. This paper presents the first
literature review on the most important environmental certification, namely the ISO 14001. We identify and summarize six
streams of ISO14001 research by applying the antecedents–structure/process–consequences framework. We propose
an agenda for future research.
