Partendo da considerazioni generali sull'epoca e le opere di Michele Sanmicheli e sul contesto territoriale ed urbano nel quale si situano, il saggio analizza la loro attuale condizione rispetto al fenomeno turistico. Le esternalità del turismo, visto sotto molteplici aspetti, garantiscono alcune possibilità di tutela per i beni in discussione. Il problema che viene posto all'attenzione è quello della conservazione degli stessi attraverso un attento e misurato utilizzo, anziché della loro preservazione, avulsa dal contesto e dai fenomeni che il turismo contemporaneo propone. La conservazione dei beni, attraverso una loro misurata ed attenta fruizione da parte dei visitatori, garantisce una loro migliore tutela rispetto ad una mera preservazione avulsa da ogni forma di utilizzo.
Starting from general considerations on the age and the works of Michele Sanmicheli and the urban and territorial context in which they are situated, the paper analyzes their current status with respect to the phenomenon of tourism. The externalities of tourism, since in many respects, provide some possible protection for the goods in question. The problem that is brought to the attention is that of theconservation of them through a careful and measured use, rather than their preservation, divorced from the context and from the phenomena that contemporary tourism offers. The conservation of goods, through their measured and careful use by visitors, ensures their better protection than a mere preservation detached from any form of use.
