The objective of the author is to identify, through a comparative study on the localities of Vale Veneto and Recanto Maestro, the transformations and sedimentations of the cultural landscape of the Fourth Immigration Colony. Although belonging to the same geographical region and being only 8 kilometers away from each other, these two localities currently present very different cultural characteristics and strike the imagination of those who visit the region. This is a relevant investigation for the purposes of recording and identifying the symbols that seem to characterize two distinct periods, and processes, in the colonization of the Fourth Colony and in the definition of its landscape.
