North-Western part of Julian Pre-Alps represents a junction area between Dinaric Slovenian sector and Italian Sudalpine. On the basis of geological caracteristics Julian Pre-Alps are subdivided in omogeneous area for tyhe tipology and distribution of karstic phenomena.
