Abstract
The Final 3FiRES Booklet collects the most important research outcomes from the second year of scientific activities of the "Particular Relevance" Italy-China bilateral project, between the University of Trieste (Principal Investigator Prof. Chiara Bedon) and the University of Science and Technology of China (Principal Investigator Prof. Yu Wang). Several research contributions that are presented in this Booklet have been orally presented during the "Final 3FiRES Workshop", an international event that took place in Trieste, on October 6th, 2025. Young researchers and experts had the opportunity to share their research findings, both from the Italian and Chinese sides, and take advantage of a robust multidisciplinary networking. In these conditions, the Booklet confirms the innovative nature of the bilateral project, and confirms that the international cooperation in science and technology can result in maximized research outcomes, as also shown by the involved partners. This evidence was achieved also with the interaction of the 3FiRES team with the extended international network, giving confirmation of the impact of research on BIPVs.
