“The recent and sudden spread of Web-lessons and Web-conferences following the emergency of Covid-19 was greeted enthusiastically. It was suddenly possible to produce and participate in meetings, conferences and lectures in previously inaccessible places, even on a daily basis. The aim of this essay is to identify existing or new gestural cues useful in online lessons, and to find alternatives to the lost cues.
