Abstract
My thesis work consists of an ARPES and Time-resolved ARPES study of several topological materials. I have studied a wide set of doped topological insulators (TIs) with a non-equilibrium approach in order to disentangle, by the relaxation dynamics of the excited carriers, the different relaxation mechanisms involving surface and bulk states. I included in my study also new topological phases of matter, such as the topological Kondo Insulator (TKI) SmB6 and the Weyl semimetal (WSM) MoTe2 in order to extend the present day scenario concerning the topological states of the matter.
