The research is aimed at applying different methodologies and instruments for land analysis able at giving synthetic information on the land. Three different analyses were crried out: two of them allowed to survey landscape diversity and to define areas of different landscape quality; the third one analysed visual aspects of the landscape and allowed the integration of aesthetic and perceptive aspects. The research allowed to verify the usefulness of approaches integrating instruments like GIS and Remote Sensing to study landscape structure at local scale and in relatively homogeneous areas.
