На основу непознатих дневничких записа Јурија Ракитина (1882–1952) анализирају се однос руског режисе- ра према српској културној средини између два рата, рад на представама које су даване у Мањежу и Народ- ном позоришту или пак припрема- не за Руску позоришну трупу, суд о уметничким методама и поли- тици у театру. Based on unknown diary entries by Juri Rakitin (1882–1952), the author analyses the Russian director’s attitude towards the Serbian cultural environment between the two wars, work on plays given at the Manjež and the National theater or prepared for the Russian Theater Troupe, as well as his judgment of artistic methods in politics and theatre.
