Grotta Gialla (Duino-Aurisina, Trieste): I materiali pre-protostorici degli scavi di Benno Benussi e della Commissione Grotte “Eugenio Boegan” (1954-1962).

The prehistoric and protohistoric materials found in grotta Gialla (VG 932 / FVG 467) in the 1954-62 excavations carried out by Benno Benussi and the Commissione Grotte “Eugenio Boegan” remained unpublished – apart from a preliminary, descriptive communication by Benussi – till few years ago, when P. Egidi made all the drawings that are presented here with some critical comments. The most interesting observation is that the revision would confirm the hypothesis made in the past by Benussi on a rather discontinuous use of the cave for different purposes, still open to debate.
