With an idea that anticipates the times, Visintini combines the structural concept of iron with the pioneering use of reinforced concrete for the construction of floors, stairs, roofs, etc. . For over thirty years, the "Visintini" system has been adopted and advertised in Europe and USA, passing through Frankfurt - a key moment in the history of modern construction (Ernst May's Häuser Fabrik). The paper provides a first reconstruction of the events linked to the diffusion of the patent, as emerging from the analysis of works and recently digitized bibliographic and archive sources.
