Il lavoro fornisce una sintesi, basata sullo studio delle fonti e su sopralluoghi, della presenza della Pietra Piasentina, brecciola calcarea eocenica, nell'edilizia storica dell’area friulana, evidenziando una continuità d’uso che va dal periodo romano alla quotidianità, in un susseguirsi di episodi singoli/ripetuti che costituiscono l’elemento caratterizzante l’impiego del materiale lapideo. | This work provides a summary, based on the study of direct sources and on-site inspections, of the presence of Piasentina stone, an Eocene breccia, in the historic buildings in and around Friuli. The study revealed a continuity of use, from the Roman period through the present, in a succession of individual and repeated episodes that together constitute the characterizing element of the use of this material.
