La Grotta Gigante, con settantamila visitatori annui è il secondo
polo turistico della Provincia di Trieste e tra i primi
della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Dei settantamila visitatori annui, buona parte è rappresentata
da studenti di scuole di ogni ordine e grado, dalla
scuola materna all’università, per i quali sono stati approntati
appositi programmi didattici in modo che tutti gli studenti
possano ricavare il massimo profitto dalla visita di
istruzione alla Grotta Gigante.
La Grotta Gigante è inoltre, a livello internazionale, tra le
più importanti stazioni ipogee di ricerca scientifica. The Grotta Gigante, attracting 70,000 visitors a year, is
