The essay deals with the circulation of legal models in the formation of the current property law rules in the Western Balkan countries of Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia, with particular reference to the a non domino acquisition issue. Comparative observations on the different degrees of protection of the third party acquirer in good faith are drawn.
