The ancient Sumerian culture, and in particular their way of counting, was the starting point for developing a mathematical learning path which led to the realization of a workshop presented at the 13th edition of “La matematica dei ragazzi: scambi di esperienze tra coetanei”. The experience was conducted in a fourth grade elementary school class.
