Abstract
Increasing attention has recently been paid by both academic research and political discourse to collective forms of prosumerism around renewable energy. The innovative nature of these experiences is related to the fact that they give rise to forms of management, production and distribution of renewable energy that diverge from traditional organizational models centred on the market or the state. Moreover, contrary to ecological modernization initiatives of traditional business, characterized by the prevalence of technological innovations, they tend to focus on the development of organizational innovations, the experimentation of new agreements and the creation of new social institutions.
