L’Autore sulla falsariga di un progetto di ricerca da farsi nell’ambito dell’Accademia
Russa di Futures Studies, da lui presieduta, sviluppa l’ipotesi di una previsione di
come attraverso il susseguirsi di generazioni di computer e di campi di informazione può realizzarsi
una post-umanità costituita da cybers che condividono una comune mente mondiale.
L’analisi pone l’attenzione anche sulla riproposizione dei significati della vita (razionalizzazione
della materia) che cambiano, sulle forme materiali, sui criteri ottimali, sui quali si
fonda la mente mondiale, e sull’etica del processo di trasformazione della persona in cyber.
È un’analisi che richiama, in negativo, le previsioni di Tehilard de Chardin. L’ipotesi da
verificare viene infine trasformata negli stadi della ricerca per la sua verifica. Along the lines of a research project he will himself be heading in the Russian
Academy of Futures Studies, the author develops the hypothesis of a prediction that the
succession of generations of computers and information fields may produce a post-humanity
made up of cybers sharing a common world mind. The analysis focuses on the re-proposition
of changing meanings of life (the rationalisation of matter), on the material forms and optimum
criteria on which the world mind is founded, and on the ethics of the transformation
of the person into a cyber. It is an analysis which recalls the more negative features of the
predictions of Tehilard de Chardin. The hypothesis to be verified is finally transformed into
the stages of the research to be conducted to verify it.
