In this paper I will discuss Totaro’s book, Assoluto e relativo. L’essere e il suo accadere per noi. In particular, I will discuss his theory of human action. For Totaro, our knowledge of the Absolute influences our desire and our action. With our actions we can never achieve the absolute Positive, but we must try always to expand the complex of the good things, through the cooperation of all points of view. In the last part of the paper I formulate some objections and I ask Totaro to solve some fundamental issues that his book leaves unanswered.
