The article aims to examine the connections between fascism and colonialism through the study of an important colonial-themed periodical with a strongly fascist editorial stance. The many issues of «L’Azione coloniale» – a newspaper that also survived within the Italian Social Republic – allow us to grasp how radical the fascist-colonial ideology was, how racism was not a superficial aspect of that ideology, and how war and expansion were at its core.
