Abstract
Antimicrobial packaging is a promising and emerging technology in which antimicrobial agents are incorporated into or coated onto food packaging materials in order to prolong the shelf life of the packaged food or to control the growth of pathogenic microorganisms. In this study, it has been verified the effectiveness of a commercial antimicrobial packaging and en experimental antimicrobial packaging against the spoilage and pathogenic microorganisms respectively
