Der Beitrag untersucht einige grundlegende Probleme bei der Entwicklung von Folksonomien im rechtlichen Informationsmanagement. Es wird ausgewertet, ob und wie diese Informationstechnologien dafür geeignet sind, eine Verbindung zwischen dem «Cur jus?» (die Bedeutung des Gesetzes für den Einzelnen), dem «Quid jus?» (das Konzept des Gesetzes als Struktur von sozialen Beziehungen) und dem «Quid juris?» (die Absicht des Gesetzes, namentlich Auseinandersetzungen zwischen Menschen zu lösen) darzustellen. Die Analyse wird gemäss einer juristischen Ontologie, welche gestützt ist von einer theoretischen Perspektive, die realistisch zu sein behauptet, durchgeführt und ist daher in der Rechtsinformatik etwas ungewöhnlich.
