Abstract
Wrist fractures represent one of the most common events in traumatology, in fact they're extremely frequently seen in Trauma Centers. The most common patient is an elderly osteopototic lady who fell accidentally or a young adult with a high energy trauma often presenting fractures in other body parts. Even though these fractures are considered being "benign", clinical and functional outcomes are often poor. In literature reports show 12 to 28% of deformities, pain and functional reduction of the wrist and of the hand after treatment. Our goal is to try to avoid errors in the clinical and therapeutical approach, enhance medical activity and avoid malpractice accuses.
