The new discovery of a coin hoard in a rural area of eastern Veneto's region, turned on the spotlight on an area that in ancient times must have been of considerable importance. The characteristics of the find point out significant interpretative elements and connote interesting implications that contribute to review the approach with which we have so far dealt with the study of the economic and monetary history of Roman Venetia, suggesting an overhaul of the acquired convictions.
