Abstract
Nasolacrimal sac and duct surgery, traditionally performed externally by the ophthalmologist, with the advent of nose endoscopy, has been replaced by endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy. This technique was performed in collaboration between ENT and ophthalmologist specialist, who can use their skills and, doing surgery together. In recent years, a new surgical endoscopic technique called Dacryocystorhinostomy is becoming more and more popular. This kind of surgery allows to successfully solve all proximal obstructive pathologies of the lacrimal canaliculi, often reason of surgery failure.
