The article examines the position of the municipal "statute" within the system of sources of law, through a retrospective analysis on sources of local autonomy. Then it focuses on the current position of the source "statute", its contents and its limits, in relation to other local, regional and state sources of law, highlighting the significant differences that exist between special and ordinary regional systems.
