Abstract
One of the most important document for the comprehension of the meaning of Bonifacian Holy Year is undoubtedly Cardinal Jean Lemoine's gloss to the Antiquorum habet. Yet, this gloss is worthy to be remembered also for its contribution to the development of the concept of Church as corpus mysticum Christi, which was officially expressed for the first time in 1302 by Unam Sanctam. Even if we can't say with certainty how much it has been the most direct inspirer of this bull, Lemoine's gloss help us in understanding the relevance and the significance of the outset of the doctrine of corpus mysticum within Bonifacio's ecclesiology. In fact, it shows meanings which are not purely reductible to ierocratic terms and which are directly connected to jubilee event.
