Abstract
If you search PubMed you find that 30 years ago (1987), only one neuropsychological paper on confabulation was pub- lished, the article by Kopelman distinguishing between pro- voked and spontaneous confabulation (Kopelman, 1987). During the course of 2016, there have been 31 papers on confabulation to date, and in the intervening years 306 publications.
