Viene dimostrato un teorema che lega il numero ereditario di Lindelöf del prodotto cartesiano di due spazi topologici, con quello dei fattori e con il loro peso. A theorem is given, Mich relates the hereditarily Lindelöf number (h. L. n.) of the cartesian product of two topological spaces to the h. L. n. of the factors and to their weight. In particular, it is found that the product of a metrizable 2. nd countable space by a hereditarily Lindeldf space, is a hereditarily Lindelöf space.
