On the basis of some substituted benzylacetamide derivatives previously
synthesized by us [1] and gifted with excellent activity toward sigma1 receptor subtype
(best sigma1Ki= 0,09 nM), we synthesized a new series (1 a-o) of alkylacetamide
derivatives in order to establish the influence of an alkyl chain, rather than an aryl
moiety, on sigma1 receptor affinity of the corresponding compounds and their
selectivity over sigma2 receptor subtype.
