This essay aims to propose an innovative interpretation of cybernetics through an in-depth critical comparison with the existing scientific literature, highlighting what we consider its limitations. On the one hand, we will show how cybernetics can be interpreted in terms of an onto epistemological posture, i.e., with the place of a (re)definition of the image of Science and the ontological consistency of reality towards which it would direct its understanding. On the other hand, we will explain in what sense it is precisely in these terms that the passage through the cybernetic archive could prove decisive for political philosophy.
