This thesis mainly studies the Zariski topology on a group, which is determined by the group structure, and determines some properties of all
Hausdorff group topologies on the group. For example, some subgroups or subsets that are Zariski-closed must be closed also with respect to all
such Hausdorff group topologies. We deduce properties of the Zariski topology from the algebraic properties of the group, and vice versa. We also
study the behaviour of the Zariski topology under the standard passages to subgroups, quotients, products (direct or semidirect)
Questa tesi studia essenzialmente la topologia di Zariski di un gruppo, che è determinata dalla struttura algebrica del gruppo e che determina alcune proprietà di ogni topologia gruppale Hausdorff sul gruppo. Deduciamo proprietà della topologia di Zariski dalle proprietà algebriche del gruppo, e viceversa. Inoltre studiamo il comportamento della topologia di Zariski rispetto ai canonici passaggi a sottogruppo, quoziente, prodotti (diretti e semidiretti)
