Abstract
In the paper methods for computing characteristic roots for Delay Differential Equations with fixed discrete delay are investigated. Two different approaches are presented based on different schemes of approximations applied to the equation restated as Abstract Cauchy problem. A number of numerical tests illustrates the convergence properties of both methods
