While aimed at radical renovation of the former industrial building to the point of totally eliminating its present condition, the project seeks to do so without demolishing the structures present in the area. The new buildings are to be embedded in the existing complex so as to create conceptural and physical relations that involve the old factory while leaving its formal identity unchanged.
