Recenti e importanti acquisizioni archeologiche assieme all’aggiornamento del corpus epigrafico e, in particolare, dell’onomasticon di Aquileia repubblicana consentono di aggiungere nuovi dati a sostegno della pionieristica proposta di Filippo Càssola, presentata nel saggio dedicato ad Aquileia e l’Oriente Mediterraneo (1977), sulla possibile presenza di Aquileiesi nell’Egeo, in particolare a Delo, fra la metà del II e la metà del I secolo a.C. The acquisition of new and important archaeological data with the updating of the epigraphic corpus and, in particular, of the onomasticon of Republican Aquileia allow us to add new elements to support the pioneering proposal of Filippo Càssola - presented in the paper dedicated to Aquileia and the East Mediterranean (1977) - on the possible presence of Aquileienses in the Aegean Sea, in particular in Delos, from the middle of the II century B.C. to the middle of the I century B.C.
