The contribution examines the edition of the 'Angeleida' E. Valvasone (a c. L. Borsetto,2005), according some faces still to be explored: as the relation between author and O. Menini, close to P. Sarpi and to Isaac Casaubon Moreover, the relation that 'Angeleida' has with 'Paradise Lost' by John Milton.
