This note focuses on the extension of the compulsory vaccination in pre-schools (for the time before 8 June 2017, when the law decree 7 June 2017, n. 73 came into force). This is a chance to explore, on the one hand, the latitude
of this duty and to frame, on the other hand, this decision and the recent regulation as an example of “public choice”.
