Passo Fundo, a Brazilian municipality in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, emerges and develops through agribusiness, facilitated by the environmental conditions of the region. This cultural process replaced the forest landscape with crops and brought rural and urban spaces closer together. Knowing this relationship and the importance of preserving and managing the cultural landscape, it is essential to address this issue in municipal planning. This research sought to understand how the master plans of Passo Fundo deal with the theme of cultural landscape in the rural area, the largest territorial area of the municipality.
