This research studies the theoretical and practical assumptions and outcomes of the EPR policy principle applied to the e-waste. We found out that EPR legislation has improved the end-of-life management we limited impact on the prices of EEE (average 2,19% in Europe after the introduction of WEEE Directive). We also investigated one of the PRO (Producer Responsibility Organisation) operating in Italy, its internal costs and the membership fees applied to its members.
