PROPOSTA DI CARTOGRAFIA GEO-TURISTICA DEL PARCO DELLA GOLA DELLA ROSSA E DI FRASASSI (ANCONA, MARCHE CENTRALI) PROPOSAL FOR GEOLOGICAL-TOURISTIC CARTOGRAPHY OF GOLA DELLA ROSSA AND OF FRASASSI PARK

Il turismo geologico viene considerato solo da poco tempo come una risorsa economica soprattutto per quelle aree che sono già state classificate come Parchi Nazionali, Regionali o Riserve naturali. È il caso del Parco della Gola della Rossa e di Frasassi, nelle Marche centrali, che per le sue notevoli peculiarità scientifiche, è stato oggetto di numerosi studi. Assodato il valore paesaggistico ed estetico, è unanime il riconoscimento della quantità e qualità scientifica e didattica delle emergenze presenti nell’area, in considerazione della limitata estensione territoriale, tanto che la Comunità Montana dell’Esino, nel quale ricade amministrativamente il Parco, ha definito quest’area come “Parco geologico”. Il Piano del Parco ha dato particolare enfasi agli aspetti geologico-geomorfologici, ipotizzandone una valorizzazione specifica che possa produrre un indotto economico basato sul turismo geologico e naturalistico, associato all’usuale interesse emotivo-semiologico. Vengono descritte, sulla base delle conoscenze scientifiche ed ambientali e sul valore estetico, le peculiarità geologico-geomorfologiche (geositi) che caratterizzano tale comprensorio e che, opportunamente legate da più itinerari dedicati, potrebbero costituire percorsi escursionistici di sicuro valore ed interesse geo-turistico. Only recently geological tourism has been considered as an economical resource particularly for those areas which have already been classified as National, Regional Parks or Natural Reserves. This is the case of the Park of Gola della Rossa and of Frasassi, in Central Marches region. This Park has been often studied for its remarkable scientific features. Having ascertained its landscape and aesthetic value, the quantity and scientific and educational quality of the emergencies of the area have been unanimously acknowledged, also considering its limited territorial size, so that the Consortium of Communes of the Mountain area of Esino, to which the Park belongs to administratively, classified this area as “Geological Park”. The Plan of the Park mainly highlighted the geological and geomorphological aspects, assuming of increasing its specific value in order to foster linked economic activities based on geological and naturalistic tourism, together with the usual emotional and semiological interest. According to the scientific and environmental knowledge and to the aesthetic value, the geological and geomorphological characteristics (geosites) that feature this area are described. These characteristics, duly linked by several ad hoc routes, could represent excursion routes of great geo-tourist value and interest.
