L’intervento esplorerà il paesaggio militare del Carso durante la Grande Guerra, attraverso la lettura incrociata di fotografie aeree e cartografie dell’epoca. Il materiale è stato rintracciato attraverso accurate ricerche presso archivi italiani e austriaci. Parte delle immagini che verranno presentate sono ancora inedite e presentano una interessante prospettiva di lettura delle trasformazioni del paesaggio. The work will explore the military landscape of Carso during the Great War, through a cross-examination of aerial photographs and maps from the period. The material was tracked down through careful research in Italian and Austrian archives. Part of the images that will be presented are to this day unreleased and offer an interesting perspective in terms of interpreting how the landscape transformed.
