The author illustrates a humanitarian intervention carried out in the Amazon in support of river populations, ribeirinhos, who are very vulnerable in health terms. It highlights the contribution offered by a hospital ship, especially in conjunction with the Covid-19 pandemic and thanks also to the international initiative A vaccine for all #daretocare.
