Abstract
In the singular or diffuse “peripheries” produced by the crisis, the recent urban residues of productive origin appear unlikely removed, if only for parts. The idea is the work of “discovery” of the fragments, the re-cycle for the urban project, the “creative” redesign of the existing for an ecological city. This means operate on the inconsistency of these fragments, elevating them to new forms of permanence, that is seemingly useless products of everyday life, a “paradigm” of production, able to draw new figurative structures of the city. The meaning of hyper-cycle is enclosed in this project of urban transformation, which corresponds to the activation at the same time of multiple cycles of life on the same reality, to make it more efficient and responsive to the needs of today, not in conflict with the environment, more inclusive from a social point of view, more effective from an energy point of view.
