This contribution aims to present the first experience in the organization and implementation of the Formative Modules in Business Economics and Management at the University of Trieste, which was carried out in September 2015, September 2016 and September 2017. These Modules, coordinated by Patrizia de Luca (DEAMS - UniTS), were carried out with the collaboration of Prof. Girolamo Piccolo (Istituto “L. da Vinci, G. R. Carli, S. de Sandrinelli”, Trieste) in 2015; Prof. Adele Intini (ISIS “G. Galilei”, Gorizia) in 2016; Prof. Francesco Venier (DEAMS - UniTS) and Girolamo Piccolo in 2017. After a brief introduction of the project, the following sections of the article describe the modules organization over a three-year period, the teachers’ experiences, and some concluding remarks on these Formative Modules in the School-University relationship.
