Rosario Ferré is among the most important writers in contemporary Latin American literature. However, only two of her novels have been translated into Italian, Vecindarios excéntricos and La casa de la laguna. As part of a bilingual anthology (Spanish-Italian) of her poetry that we are preparing, we analyze the mechanisms that underlie the translation of her poetry and deepen the representation of female identity through language.
