The book proposed here looks back at the events, divided by the main points of debate, which affect or have affected the history of the Venetian urban mainland by beginning of the eighties, at the end of the first decade of the twenty-first century.
Since the text is laid for the first time in 2004, but resumed in 2010, and then released with changes in 2012, do not be surprised if, in addition to the two decades covered are sometimes added notations concerning recent events. They are mostly aimed at clarifying phenomena in nuce in previous periods, and often give logical continuity to the urban story of Mestre, in a way that can best be understood by the reader for its consequential dynamics.
