The experimentation, with the aim of providing strategic action guidelines on the industrial and productive sites of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, after analyzing the national and international context of reference, focused its attention on the theme of APEA, (Italian acronym for Ecologically Equipped Industrial Areas) investigating and activating a methodological and repeatable process that allows to read and understand with a systemic approach the production complex.
As support of APEA, an interpretative synthesis of the technological requirements needed in relation to the main territorial and environmental matrices was prepared. On its basis, possible and recommended fields of intervention were identified with specific solutions for an eco-sustainable enhancement and qualification of existing structures and infrastructures, with systemic attention to the different scales of the territory, construction and complements.
