Law of Nature and human ecosystem approach. Modelling a transcultural eco-legal framework

Siamo di fronte a una crisi ecologica senza precedenti che pone serie minacce all'umanità e al nostro pianeta, a causa delle attività antropogeniche. L'invito a prendere sul serio l'urgenza di azioni efficaci solleva la necessità di costruire "rappresentazioni giuridiche e politiche" che trasmettano "relazioni non distruttive tra l'uomo e la natura". Il diritto dovrebbe idealmente offrire una risposta globale e olistica per salvaguardare il "superiore interesse" del globo interconnesso e di tutte le sue componenti umane e non umane.

We are facing an unprecedented ecological crisis that poses serious threats to humanity and our planet due to anthropogenic activities. The call to take seriously the urgency for effective action raises the need to build 'legal and political representations' that convey 'non-destructive relationships between man and nature'. Law should ideally offer a comprehensive and holistic response to safeguard the 'best interests' of the interconnected globe and all its human and non-human components.
